Mr. Cluney retired in 1994 as a tool maker for General Motors. He married Shirley on March 19, 1949, in Canada. He was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, and enjoyed woodworking, hunting and fishing. He worked for the Democratic Party and served in the Canadian military. He is survived by his children, Terryl M. (Dennis) White of Plymouth, Katherine E. (Michael) Bryan of Traverse City and Timothy D. (Stacy) Cluney of Chesterfield Township; grandchildren, Sara, Jason, Cristine, Lori, Greg, Kari, Michael, Rachel and Amanda; and siblings, Terry (Barbara) Cluney of London, Ontario, Canada, and Katherine Harbor of New Baltimore. He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley, on Dec. 9, 2004. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 29920 23 Mile Road, Chesterfield Township, with the Rev. Melvin E. Hiler officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, New Baltimore…. |
