    not sure how to correctly cite this. I'm not certain this is the right Donald Buchanan, but it is the closest match I've ever seen.

    I only cite this here as it may lead others astray. I am almost certain the information on this Find A Grave entry is incorrect. None of the individuals cited as potential matches are the right age or are from the right part of Prince Edward Island.

    This Donald was from lot 9 and is documented in the 1881, 1891, 1901 and 1911 census, all indicate he was born about 1854. It also seems highly unlikely that he is buried in Vancouver BC, while his daughter did live there for some time, the two potential matches cited therein are after she had left and had a family in Scotland.
