Donald L Alley Retired carpenter

Donald L Alley, 73, died at 12:10 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14, 1998, at his ho me at 3 Fairview Ave.

He was born in Fostoria Aug. 18, 1925, to John and Iva (Clark) Alley. On S ept. 1, 1951, in Angola, Ind, he married Norma J Sholl. She survives.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Bonnie) Raitz and Mr s. Roger (Shari) Hill, both of Tiffin; two brothers, Ralph and Raymond All ey, both of Fostoria; three sisters, Florence George of Colorado, Helen Bu rns of Toledo and Mrs. Edward (Joyce) Agerter of Tiffin; eight grandchildr en and two step-grandchildren.

Also preceding him in death were seven brothers, Richard, John, James, Cla rk, Robert, Carl and Wm; and three sisters, Cory Stocker, Patricia Fron tz and Louise Morhman.

Mr. Alley, a member of the Prostestant faith, had been employed with I TT as a carpenter for 32 years.

A World War II U.S Army veteran, he also was a member of Tiffin VFW Post 2 858.

Services in Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home will be 11 a.m. Thursday, wi th the Rev. Jan Kucera officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemeter y, where military graveside services will be conducted by the United Veter ans Council.

Visitation at the funeral home will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.
