Clorinda I Stocker Retired BGSU custodial worker

Clorinda I Stocker, 84, of 8450 N US 23, Risingsun, formerly of 1224 Sandu sky St, Fostoria, died at 8 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, 1998, in St. Catherine 's Care Center, Fostoria.

She was born June 22, 1914, in Fostoria, to John L and Iva G (Clark) Alle y. Her husband, Clifton Stocker, whom she married Sept. 17, 1933, in Fosto ria, died July 5, 1970.

Surviving are: a son, Charles C Stocker of Huron; two daughters, Charle ne James of Risingsun and Shirley A Childers of Fostoria; three brother s, Ralph and Raymond Alley, both of Fostoria, and Donald Alley of Tiffi n; three sisters, Florence George of Montross, Colo, Mrs. Ed (Joyce) Agat er of Tiffin and Helen Burns of Toledo; four grandchildren and two great-g randchildren.

She also was preceded in death by seven brothers, Richard, Clark, John, Ja mes, Wm, Robert and Carl Alley; and two sisters, Louise Morman and Patric ia Frontz.

Mrs. Stocker, a member of Fostoria Church of the Brethren, had been employ ed at Bowling Green State University for 12 years as a custodial worker, r etiring in 1982.

Private services and burial will be in Beaver Creek Cemetery, Grand Rapid s OH.

There will be no visitation. The Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostoria Chape l, is in charge of arrangements.
