Derek S. Edzenga of Clear Lake died of a heart attack in his home on August 4. Edzenga had lived in this area for the past 28 years.
He was born in Holland on November 23, 1879. Funeral services were held in the Lemley Mortuary Tuesday, August 8, at 2 p.m. The Rev. George Welch of Clear Lake officiated. Burial was in the Clear Lake cemetery.
