In the name of God Amen I Dicy Faris being very far advanced in years and knowing that all must die but being of sound mind and disposing memory do make and constitute this my las will and testament hereby revoking all other wills or divises? made by me heretofore 1st I will and bequeath to my daughter Mary Faris the tract of land upon which we now live being the same land which was deeded to me by my father Isham Faris 2nd I also will to my said daughter Mary Faris my May horse (Jim) and all other stock. I have on hand also my household & kitchen furniture of every kind whatever the forgoing bequest is in determination of the care and attention which I have already received of my said daughter Mary and with the understanding that she is to take care of and provide for me the remainder of my life Dicey Faris attest C.B.
