3. Hans Michael STUMPF: b. 17 Apr. 1707, Eberback,,Germany, md. Maria Catherin WHITECOTTON (Note: this is probably incorrect, most researchers have his wife as Anna Catherine Neff) . Both died in Potomac River Valley, Virginia There are wills. 4. Michael STUMP II: B. 8 Apr. 1744, D. 2 Jun 1799, md. 1763 to Sarah HUGHES 5. Michael STUMP,III: b. 4 Feb 1766, d. 27 Mar 1837, md abt. 1766 to Magdeline RICHARDS. 6. Michael STUMP IV: b 4 May 1787, d. 17 Mar 1883, md. Elizabeth BUSH. Elizabeth Bush is a GGDau of Hans Adam Bush, who was the first marriage of Catherine Stumpf, dau. of Berks Co. PA. Christopher Stumpf. George Adam BUSH and his father Johann Michael BUSH were both born in Zuzenhausen, Daisback,Germany. They came by way of Philadelphia and lived in Berks Co. PA. and all their family plus George Adam's #2 wife moved to the South Branch Potomac River Valley. Does this help? The problem is with Neff and Johann Michael Stump being the son of Johann George Stump and possibly being born in probably Livingston Manor, N.Y. because it was too early for the Schoharie Valley, N.Y. period living amongst the Mowhawk Indians in long huts.[?] versus Michael or Christian STUMF of Christopher Stumpf. The two boys were born in 1760's to Christopher and his 2nd wife, Anna Margaretta [--?--], his widow [He died in 1779]. I tried to get in on the familysearch and that was a joke now everyone knows about it. I am not sure if all this is on the IGI or Ancestral File. On Christopher Stumpf's family their is over 100 IGI files and an "Alphabet Soup" He had 17-18 children. One person has him from Franklin Co., Mississippi and it [the county] was not even dreamed of at that time. ams
