A deed dated "22 August, 1550-1" rents land in Clyst Huiton to "Christopher Stuckley and wife Mary". This deed was witnessed by Edward Westcote.

"Issue to Christopher and Mary: John, Andrew, Damaris, Mary, Grace, Elizabeth, Ann.
NOTE-Did Edward Westcote, witness to the deed of Christopher Stucley in 1550-1, marry his dau. Damaris, and were they grandparents of Stukely Westcott, the emigrant?"

On page 4 (where the deed is also mentioned), the author speculates on whether Mary or Damaris (living with their father in 1567) might have been the mother or grandmother of Stukely Westcott.
