Notes from Tina Beller: Davis Pinson b. 5 January 1861. Daniel Pinson ( Davis Pinsons father ) had served in the Confederate Army and died in service during the Civil War. Sarah left the child, Davis, with his grandparents. Isaac F. and Amelia Pinson. Sarah either died or was remarried as Davis remained with his grandparents. He appeared in their household in the 1870 census, age 9 and again in the 1880 census, age 19 ( 18 ? ) Davis who never married, died on 30 June 1892 and is interred in Barren Springs Cemetery.
