    After the death of Colonel Alexander Brown, his widow, Mrs. Jane (Alexander) Brown, married David Semple August 16, 1791, and removed to Stone Valley, Pennsylvania, where she resided until her death, October 17, 1841, aged seventy-eight years. David Semple died December 29, 1841, aged eighty-four years. Her children by this marriage were:

    1. Jane Semple, born July 5, 1792. m. William Barr
    2. Asenath Semple, born April 11, 1794. m. William McAlevy
    3. Agness Semple, born April 21, 1796. m. Alexander Thompson
