BIOGRAPHY:

Was a leading citizen and merchant in Batavia NY for many years. Retired and went to NYC. Collecting data on the descendants of Robert Seaver was his hobby. He travelled considerably throughout New England, securing information from inspection of original records and almost entirely by personal acquaintance. Upon his death, the manuscript was passed on to his son David, who arranged the data in logical form. This material has been by far the most valuable contribution to the Seaver Genealogy (JMSeaver, 1924)
