David Rich of Wallingford, 8 Oct. 1724, signed a petition to the General Court at New Haven, and 9 Oct. 1729 his wife was one of the original members of the Wallingford [Meriden] Church. (Davis's Hist, of Wallingford, Conn., pp. 127, 213.) … David Rich bought 17 acres of land in Wallingford in 1737, but sold it soon. He bought land in Farmington, for after his death in 1748 his widow Elizabeth and children gave [a] deed: …"
