Source:Morse, J. Howard. Morse Genealogy : Comprising the Descendants of Samuel, Anthony, William and Joseph Morse and John Moss : Being a Revision of the, p. 15, says David, bp. 26, 8, 1681, "died the same year". This cannot be confirmed since the published church records on p. 40 at the beginning of Book III, notes that "Book II was lost many years ago." Thus there are no baptisms from 1671 to 1724. Instead this data was apparently just copied from Source:Morse, Abner. Memorial of the Morses. Needless to say the baptism is before the cited birth record, and the cited death record disagrees about the recorded year of death as well.
