The author claims, with no evidence, that David was a son of Edward Morgan of Pennsylvania and a brother of Sarah Morgan, wife of Squire Boone. This appears to be spurious (as is likely the claim that David was born in Wales, which depends on the disproven lineage of Edward Morgan). Stewart Baldwin doesn't even mention David in his extensive and well-researched 2001 article on the family of Edward and Elizabeth (Jarman) Morgan.
