David C. "Bud" Loughner, 80, of Manor (Hempfield Township), died Thursday, Sept. 21, 2000, in Hempfield Township. He was born Sept. 20, 1920, in Manor, a son of the late David C. and Margaret (Kuhns) Loughner. Prior to retirement, he had been employed as a laborer by Industrial Alloys, Wegley. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Manor American Legion Post 344 (Jeannette), Manor Hunting Club and VFW Post 781. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Loughner; and four sisters, Jean, Velma and Florence Loughner and Marie Moser. He is survived by two sisters, Dorothy Davis of Manor and Margaret Farbaugh of Waxhaw, N.C. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the E.J. RODGERS FUNERAL HOME, 140 Race St., Manor, where services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Darlene Williams officiating. Interment in Brush Creek Cemetery.
