- ↑ "Mink Street - David Geiseck, of Monroeville, was visiting relatives andfriends here last week."
- ↑ A look at an 1891 Huron Co., Ohio atlas shows us that David's tile yardwas located on land he owned at the Railroad tracks. In fact the tracksran right through the middle of the plot he owned there in Monroeville, making for easy access to load and ship his tiles by rail freight. Onthe map also note that there is land owned just west of where is tileyard is that is owned by "Joseph Gieseck". We have not yet determinedwho this is. Might it be his brother, Charles Joseph Gieseck. Extremelycommon practice among German's to go by their middle name. Since thehistory books mention David was in partnership with his father, maybeHenry's middle name was in fact Joseph. Further research may helpclarify this situation
