Gale Family Records in England and the United States : To Which Are Added the Tottingham Family of New England, and Some Account of the, says the father sold his land in Watertown in 1726 and moved to Oxford. Bond doesn't explain where he got this baptism date. Not having found Bond's source, we don't know if the father brought his son back to Watertown where Bond found the record, or if the baptism took place in Oxford, and it was those records where Bond found the record.]
