    David "Edmonson" or Edmondson was the son of Major David Edmondson, Sr. ("died 1821, son of James and Agnes") and Sarah Paxton. His brother James, Sr. (1785 - 1833) and sister Jane E. Laird are also buried here.

    On the 1850 SW District, Rockbridge Co., VA census, I found "farmer, etc.," 65 and Hannah Edmonson, 55, both VA born.
