Will of David Carwithey

August 30, 1665
"Mr. Carwithey being visited with sicknesse desires to set things in order being weake in body but in perfect Memory.

"Imprimis, My best suite of cloathes & a paire of Bed blankets, I bequeath to my son Caleb & a sythe; & a Bible to his daughter Martha, & a booke of Mr. Baxters works to my Daughter his wife, & to him also I doe bequeath 6 stere.

"And to my Daughter Elizabeth Cranmer, I do bequeath to her 9th stere which is to bee payd with all convenient speed after my decease.

"As for my son David, I left him his portion when I came from him & added unto it 20sh.

"And I leave my Daughter Sarah Curtis sole Executrix" [S1]
