    Danny Lee Wood, 38, a former Battle Creek resident, died Wednesday in Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. He had been ill since 1982.
    He was born in Hastings and moved to Battle Creek as a child with his family. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and formerly was a nurse aide at Battle Creek Veterans Administration Medical Center.
    He is survived by his wife, the former [Living individual] Bradley; sons, [Living individual] Wood and Randy L. Wood; a brother, [Living individual] Wood; and sisters, [Living individual] Wood and [Living individual] Wood.
    Services were scheduled at 3 p.m. today at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Hebble Funeral Home.
