Daniel was Taylor's only son . . .perhaps only child. His father, Taylor, died at Daniel's home in New Orleans. I found Daniel age 19 living with his parents in the 1850 Butler County census. I did not find him in 1860 or 1870. But did find him in 1880 in New Orleans, LA; married with 3 children. His wife's name is very difficult to read, but I believe it is Susan. If I've read it right, this could be a second wife. I am attributing the children to May DeCamp. In 1900 and 1910 two of the children, Taylor and Jane/Jennie were found in Galveston, Texas.
