Personal History
Daniel Kittredg(e), sometimes Jr., first son of Daniel Kittredg Jr. and Ruth Shed, was born 10 April 1725, in Billerica, Province of Massachusetts Bay.[1][2] He died intestate[5] 17 May 1753, in Tewksbury (formerly part of Billerica).[3][4]
Daniel Kittredge (Jr.) of Tewksbury and Sarah French of Billerica were married 17 March 1746, in Billerica, by Samuel Ruggles. The town records of Tewksbury list the births of their children William, John, and Daniel.
On 25 June 1753,[5] Sarah Kitteridge was appointed administrator of the estate of her late husband Daniel Kitteridge Jr., and she (her + mark), along with Joseph Kittredg and Daniel Kitteridge (his + mark), yeomen, all of Tewksbury, signed a bond in the amount of £500. Joseph Kittredg, William French Jr., and Jacob French took an inventory of the estate. The lands and buildings, including about 30 acres of woodland, tillage-land, and meadow-land, were valued at £600, and the sum total of other items was £487-8-6.
