 Dan Hazen (Joseph 6, Joseph 4, Thomas 3, Thomas 2, Edward 1), born 1771, died at North Hero, Vt., 21 Apr. 1850, aged 79 (gravestone); married at North Hero, 13 Dec. 1791, Abigail Knight, his fourth cousin, born probably at Bennington, Vt., 24 Nov. 1775, died at North Hero, 20 Feb. 1857, daughter of John and Abigail (Town) Knight. He was a selectman at North Hero in 1798 and Representative in the legislature  1814, 1815, 1816, 1891 and 1820.
