    "Daniel5, the second son of Peter Eby, was born in 1816, and was married to Hannah Roof [sic] in 1842. He has spent his entire life-time on the old homestead upon which he was born, some two or three miles north-west of Middlebranch, Stark County, Ohio.[probably near or in Greentown] They raised a family of four sons and seven daughters, whose names, and to whom married, are as follows:
