    In the 1850 census Daniel was listed as head of house, living in Loudon Twp., Carroll Co., Ohio. He was listed as a farmer age 28 born in Ohio, his mother, Magdalena age 63 born in Maryland, his two brothers, Philip age 33 and David age 24, both born in Ohio.

    In the 1870 census taken June 17, Daniel was living in Loudon Twp., Carroll Co., Ohio. Daniel was listed as a farmer age 50 born in Pennsylvania, his wife Barbara age 37 born in Ohio, their children listed were; Mary J. age 16, Manuel age 13 and Monroe age 9, all born in Ohio.

    In the 1900 Daniel was living in Loudon Twp., Carroll County, Ohio. He was listed as age 81 born May 1819, his wife Barbary age 72 born March 1828, their son Monroe age 39 born April 1861in Ohio, and his wife Mary J. age 38 born October 1861 in Ohio, their two children, Francis M. age 18 born May 1882 in Ohio, and Mary L. age 7 born March 1893 in Ohio.

    This next is Daniel's will.

    In the name of the benevolent Father of us all. I Daniel Burrier of Loudon Township, Carroll County, Ohio, do make and publish this my last will and testament.
    Item 1st I will and bequeath to my son Monroe Burrier the farm an which I now reside on, containing fifty six acres.

    Item 2nd I will and bequeath to my son Monroe Burrier all the horses, Cattle, Sheep and hogs that are on the farm and also all the farming utensils that are on the farm and also all the household goods that are in the house.

    Item 3rd I will and bequeath to my daughter Mary Jane one hundred dollars.

    Item 4th The said Monroe Burrier is to keep my wife Barbary Burrier so long as she lives.

    Item 5th I will and bequeath all my money to my son Monroe Burrier he to pay all my just debits and funeral expenses.

    Item 6th I revoke all former wills made by me.
