Revolutionary War Pension File

Rev. War Pension application file R-1471 states that Daniel Burner served about two years in Capt Richard Campbell's and Capt John Steed's company, Col Bowman's Virginia Reg't and that he was in a battle at Charleston, SC, and was discharged there. He applied for the pension on 31 Jan 1825 while living in Overton Co, TN. His wife was about 76 yrs of age in 1825, but her name was not listed. The following children were referred to the following children: Barbary Livingston, Abram (Abraham ) Burner, Elizabeth Bell, Isaac Burner, Susan Burner, Sally Jones, Polly Coons, John Burner, and Mancy Harmon.
