Information on Daniel Brookman is limited, yet some of his descendants are trying to go back another generation and one of Daniel's great x 4 Granddaughters Tessacate has provided some information in her push to gather even further information.

Based on his burial record, Daniel was born about 1783.

He married Miriam Godin at St Mary the Virgin in Stanwell (on the Surrey-Middlesex border) on the 3rd February 1811. According to the parish marriage register, Daniel was also living in Stanwell when they married and his occupation was a labourer.

They lived in nearby Harmondsworth, Middlesex where Daniel became a publican and victualler at the Five Bells pub. The same Five Bells Pub is pictured on the Wikipedia page for Harmondsworth. The Five Bells is 17th-century but was refaced with brick, it looks eastward down the main street from the green. The name of the pub obviously comes from the neighbouring St Mary's church which was described in the 1866 Post Office Directory of Middlesex as being of Saxon and Norman origin, and has a clock and 5 bells.

It has been said that they raised 7 children there which leads to further questions and research to be done as it appears that they had 10 children in total.

Daniel died in December 1834 aged 51 and was buried at Harmondsworth.
