Daisy Knotts Stump

Daisy Knotts Stump, 77, of Grantsville, died Monday morning in West Virginia University Medical Center, Morgantown, following a long illness.

She was born in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Robert J. and Lillie Mace Knotts. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Grantsville and Fell Kennedy Sunday school class.

Surviving are her husband, Dallas Stump; two sons, Eugene Stump of Parkersburg and Dr. Darrell Stump of Radford, VA; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Perry of Lowell, Ohio; three brothers, R. J. Knotts Jr. of Stumptown, Henry Knotts of Merrills Inlet, S.C., and Walter Knotts of Massillon, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Pansy Kanyak of Seabring, Fla.; 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Services were held Thursday, in the Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with the Rev. Douglas Eades officiating. Burial was in the Bethlehem Cemetery.
