Throughout the probate file for her husband, Aaron Dresbach, Cynthia signs several documents as Syntha E. Dresbach, although many descendants have referred to her as Cynthia.


A newspaper clipping from 1910 says: Mrs. Cynthia Dresbach and daughter, of Kingston, were the guests of Elmer Hines and family, last week.

Clipping dated June 3, 1910: Mrs. Cynthia Dresbach, of Kingston, is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Elmer Hines, this week.

Feb. 25, 1910: Cliff Dresbach, of Hayesville, was the guest of his sister, Mrs. Elmer Hines, Sunday.

My mother (Charlene) said Cynthia would drive a buggy from Kingston to Ashville herself, a distance of 25 miles.

A 1913 article: Mrs. Cynthia Dresbach, who recently arrived home from a mineral spring seemingly much improved after her treatment there, suffered a relapse Monday, and is again very ill.
