IN THE NAME OF GOD Amen, I CORNELIUS NOELL being sick & weak in body but of sound & perfect memory blessed & praised be Almighty God for ye same, do make & ordaine this to be my last Will & Testamt., in manner & forme following: First & principally I comend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave it hopeing by ye meritorious death & passion of ye blessed Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ to receive full pardon & forgiveness of all my sins and a joyful! resurrection at ye last day As for my body, I comitt it to ye ground to be decently & Christianly buried at ye discretion of my Executrix hereafter named; As for ye worldly goods that God hath lent me I dispose of in manner & forme following: Vizt.
Imprimis. I give & bequeath ye Land & Plantacon where I now live both free Land & Copeehold with all that appurtenances thereunto belonging unto my loveing Wife, ELIZABETH NOELL dureing her natural life & after her decease unto my Son. CORNELIUS NOELL & his heirs;
Item. I give & bequeath unto my Son, JAMES NOELL, that tract or parcel' of Land commonly known or called by ye name of NEW HOLLAND and if it shall please God that my sd. Son do die without heirs, then I give the said Land unto my Daughter, ELIZABETH NOELL;
Item. I give & bequeath unto my Daughter, ELIZABETH NOELL, that tract or peice of Land between ye old feild and JOHN ANDERSONs joining on JNO ANDERSON by computacon One hundred acres to her & her heirs;
Item. I give unto my Son, DANIEL NOELL. Six hundred pounds of tobacco;
Item. I give unto my Daughter, MARY CLOUTSOM, Six hundred pds. of tobacco;
Item. I give unto my Daughter, MARGARET CONALLEE, Six hundred pounds of tobacco
Item, I give unto my Son, CORNELIUS NOELL, Six hundred pounds of tobacco if he shall live to be of age with a pr. of Pistolls & Holsters & a Carbine - turn over -
Item. I give unto my Son, JAMES NOELL, six hundred pds. of Tobo: if he shall live to be of age;
Item I give unto my Daughter, ELIZABETH NOELL, six hundred pounds of tobo: if she shall live to be of age.
As for ye rest of my Estate, I give it to my Wife, makeing her my whole & sole Executrix and I do annul & make void all former Wills & Testamts. bequests or Legacies by me at any time heretofore made bequeathed or given, & do sign seale & publish this to be my last Will & Testamt., In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seale this 10th day of January 1699/8,
