    Cordia Haskett of Bedford, IN, died Saturday, January 23, 1999, at Westview Manor Nursing Home. Born on November 15, 1911, in Albany, KY, she was the daughter of Felix A. and Nettie Cole Stailey. She married John R. Hatfield and he died in 1978. She married Robert Haskett, and he died in 1996.

    Surviving are two sons, Jim and John Hatfield, both of Heltonville, IN; one daughter, Patty Bezy of Washington, IN; two step-daughters, Lola Lewis and Darlene, both of Bedford, IN; eight grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Taylor; one sister, Dorothy; and one brother, Charlie Stailey.

    She was a homemaker and a member of the Oolitic Pentecostal Church.

    Services for Cordia Haskett will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 26th, at the Day & Carter Mortuary with the Rev. Richard Chase officiating. Burial will follow in Patton Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Monday and the Day & Carter Mortuary.
