Mrs Cora Shoffner Coble, 77, of Rt 1, Julian, died last night at 11:15 o'clock in a Greensboro hospital following seven weeks of critical illness. She had a number of relatives in this area.

A native of Guilford County, she was the wife of Harvey C Coble of the home, who survives. She was a member of Coble's Lutheran Church.

Survivors, other than her husband, include two daughters, Mrs Gordon Holt of Rt 1, Julian, and Mrs W H Hofer of Cupertino, Calif; four sons, Dwight Coble, Jay C Coble and Clifton W Coble, all of Burlington, and George L Coble, of Rt 1, Julian; one foster son, John T Norman of the home; and 14 grandchildren.

The body will remain at Greeson-Neese Funeral Home on Rt 1, Julian, pending completion of funeral arrangements.
