Cora E. Forbes Jones 

 Cora E. Forbes Jones, 85, of Carroll Lane, Ilsley, died at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 1993 at her

residence. 

  Born Jan. 21, 1908, in McLean County, she was the daughter of the late Tom Forbes and Florence Durbin Forbes.  She was a homemaker and a member of Orange Grove Baptist Church in Nortonville.
  She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Jefferson Jones.
  She is survived by six sons, Thomas Jefferson Jones Jr. and Robert Franklin Jones, both of Ilsley,

Harold Jones of Madisonville, Grover Jones of Dawson Springs, Donnie Jones of Philo, Ill., and James (Jimmy) Jones of Mr. Vernon, Ind.; six daughters, Addie Arnett and Brenda Johnson, both of Ilsley, Lois Brown of Madisonville, Barbara Hendricks of Dawson Springs, and Jo Ann Storm of Princeton: Three Sisters, Opel Rich, Fairy Hendricks and Lou Ella Burden, all of Madisonville: one brother Albert Forbes of Madisonville; 41 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren. 

   Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home, with Rev. Joe Groves officiating.

Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery. 

   Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
