Comfort went to New London where he had a brother, Samuel, already living about 1672. A year or two later he settled in Middletown, where his wife had a half-sister, Mary, the wife of Captain Daniel Harris.

Note the widow Marah (Weld) Starr was still living. Administration to Widow Marah. "Marah Star gave oath y this is a true presentment of the estate of her deceased husband...This court grants administration to ye deceased husbands Estate."
