The Era-Leader – 8 Oct 1997 Mr. B. C. Hart, 90, US Navy Retired died Thursday, September 25, in the Williamsburg Community Hospital, in Williamsburg, VA.

Captain Hart served in the United States Navy from 1925 until 1955 and was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict.

He was a native of Franklinton; the son of Alice Bickham Hart and Bernice Vincent Hart and the grandson of Thomas Dolphus Bickham and Cinderella Smith Bickham of Franklinton.

Captain Hart is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Lieutenant Commander Clifford A. Hart, US Navy, Retired, and Janet E. S. Hart of Williamsburg; one sister, Elizabeth Menton Kimbrell of Meridian, MS; one Aunt, Mrs. Frankie Bickham Rhodes of Franklinton; two grandsons, Jeffery C. Hart of Hampton, VA, and Clifford A. Hart, Jr., currently serving in Beijing, China; and six great- grandchildren.

Burial followed in Marathon, TX
