Clifford Jewell "Blackie" Bowerman, 84, formerly of Hanson Street, Madisonville, died at 1:05 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, 1994, in Clinic Convalescent Center in Madisonville.

Born March 17, 1910, in Bebee, Okla., he was the son of the late Peter Bowerman and Josie See Bowerman. He was a meter installer for the city of Madisonville, and he attended Assembly of God Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertie Isbell Bowerman, on Sept. 4, 1989.

He is survived by one brother Willis Bowerman of Oklahoma City; and several nieces and Nephews.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home, with Rev Ronnie Hendricks officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be his Nephews, Donald Bradley, Ralph Lovelady, Ralph Downing, Bradley Downing, Mike Downing, and Heath Bradley.

Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until the funeral hour Tuesday at the funeral home.
