Clement Mobley was born in Bedford County, Virginia, October 4, 1746. The names of his parents are not shown.
Clement Mobley enlisted in the state of South Carolina, sometime in 1775, and served until 1782, on tours of two to three months each, about fifteen months in all, as a private under Lieutenants Ephraim Lisle and William Vaughn, . . . . in the South Carolina Troops, and was in several skirmishes with the Tories.
In 1778, he was a resident of Camden District, South Carolina; after the close of the Revolution, he moved to Madison County, Kentucky; thence to Warren County, same state; thence in April, 1831, to Crawford County, Arkansas Teritory.
Hewas allowed pension on his application executed February 7, 1834, while residing in Crawford County, Arkansas Territory.
From brother Isaiah's claim: Clemment and his wife, Sibella, resided in Crawford County, Arkansas in 1834.
