    p. 209 - Clement Moberley, Jr., son of Clement Moberley, Sr. and Mary Fox, married Phoeby Lashly. He was born October 4th, 1756 in Bedford County, Virginia and came to SC with his parents. He served in the Revolutionary War from 1775 to 1782. Military service under the name of Clement Mobley shown in the records: Served under Ephraim Lyles, William Vaught, Capt. Robert Hancock, Bowie, Richard Winn, Robert Starte and David Hopkins. After the war he removed to madison Co., KY "with Daniel Boone" and thence to Warren County, Kentucky. He moved on to join a group of Mobleys who had settled in Crawford County, Arkansas, where he died." Source: Mrs. Etta Rossen.

    Clement Mobley was born in Bedford County, Virginia, October 4, 1746. The names of his parents are not shown.
    Clement Mobley enlisted in the state of South Carolina, sometime in 1775, and served until 1782, on tours of two to three months each, about fifteen months in all, as a private under Lieutenants Ephraim Lisle and William Vaughn, . . . . in the South Carolina Troops, and was in several skirmishes with the Tories.
    In 1778, he was a resident of Camden District, South Carolina; after the close of the Revolution, he moved to Madison County, Kentucky; thence to Warren County, same state; thence in April, 1831, to Crawford County, Arkansas Teritory.
    Hewas allowed pension on his application executed February 7, 1834, while residing in Crawford County, Arkansas Territory.
    From brother Isaiah's claim: Clemment and his wife, Sibella, resided in Crawford County, Arkansas in 1834.
