    Claude W. Rex, 85, of 588 Main St., Slatington, died Monday, Feb. 1, in his home. He was the husband of the late Arlene E. (Lloyd) Rex.

    He was a loom fixer at the former Stanwood Mills, Slatington, for 47 years until retiring in 1979.

    Born in Rextown, Lehigh County, he was a son of the late Ralph and Elda (Wanamaker) Rex.

    He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Slatedale.
    He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Allen O. Delke American Legion Post 16, Slatington.

    He also was a member of bowling leagues in the Northern Lehigh area for over 40 years.

    Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, Harding-Fox Funeral Home, 25-27 N. 2nd St., Slatington. Call 10-11 a.m. Thursday.
