Born around 1704, "without doubt" the son of Claude [II] & Jeanne BOURG, he married 1st around 1725 to Marguerite COSTE [sic]. Married 2nd around 1750 to Marie-Madeleine FOUGERE (no parents listed). Five children of 1st marriage listed. Some members of this family were at Plouer, France, in 1762. [Wrong Claude?]

He married around 1745 to Anne HE'BERT; two sons, Charles born around 1746, and Amand around 1755. This family [the sons] were refugees at St. Malo [the parents apparently died at sea]. [Were Joseph and Claude also their sons, and already grown by 1752 when they were listed at Grande-Ascension, Isle St. Jean?]
