Clarence was the only son of Emma R. and William G Smith of Randolph Twp, PA. He married Marian Gable in 1925. He was survived by his wife, Marian, sons, Clyde, Ellwood, Keith, Corliss, Jerome; daughters, Donna, Colleen, Patricia, Carol, and Lois. He was also survived by his mother, Emma R. Smith of Meadville and a sister, Flossie Parker and husband, Clinton.

Death of Clarence W. Smith
Clarence W. Smith, 39, formerly of Meadville, died suddenly at his home in Rocky Grove, Thursday evening.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Marian and the following children, all at home, Clyde, Ellwood, Corliss, Keith, Jerome, Donna, Colleen, Patricia, Carol and Lois. Other survivors are his mother, Mrs. Emma Smith, 723 Jefferson Street, Meadville and one sister, Mrs. Clint Parker, Wattsburg.
Mr. Smith was a member of the Grace Evangelical Church in Rocky Grove.
Funeral arrangements are being made by the Byham funeral home, where friends may call at any time. Arrangements will be announced later.
