    Clarence A. ("Gokey") Gauthier, 76, of 214 Belmont Ave. died Tuesday at home. He was a construction worker for Avezzi Contractors for several years. A lifelong resident of Indian Orchard, he was an Army veteran of the China-Burma-India theater in World War II. He was stationed in Calcutta, India, and received a Victory Medal. He leaves two brothers, Harvey of Springfield, and Aldor of Brookneal, Va.; a sister, Jeanette Gibson of Springfield, and nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be offered on Friday morning in Holy Name Church, with burial at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours, and Hafey Springfield Chapels is in charge. Memorial contributions may be made to the church at 323 Dickinson St., Springfield, 01108.
