Received a sewing machine in her mother's will. Lived in Bradenville, PA in 1894.

Latrobe Bulletin, Saturday, May 15, 1937, p. 3: "Mrs. Clara Wagner Noel: The oldest resident of Bradenville, Mrs. Clara Wagner Noel, passed away at her home in that town at 11:15 last evening, breathing her last, from a heart affection, just as she was retiring. She had been in poor health for some time.

She was born in Adamsburg, a daughter of Tobias and Mary Hebrank Wagner, on January 17, 1860, making her aged 77 years, 3 months and 28 days. She had lived all her life, since early childhood, in Bradenville.

On April 9, 1885, she was united in marriage to David Noel, who preceded her in death, in 1925. Lately, she had been staying with a son, Logan Noel, in Derry, but had gone back to her home a few days ago.

Surviving are two sons, Hilary P. Noel and S. Logan Noel, both of Derry; two brothers, E. E. Wagner, of Derry, and Riley Wagner, of Roanoke, Va.; and two sisters, Mrs. Ida Sheets, of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Sarepta L. Grove, of Duquesne.

She was a lifelong member of the Methodist church. Funeral services will be held from her late residence, in Bradenville, next Tuesday afternoon, at 2:30. Interment will be in the Mechesneytown cemetery."


Clara lived with her parents during the 1860, 1870 and 1880 US Federal Censuses.
