Relations

In the 1850 census, Christian and his family are household number 89, and he is listed as 29 years of age. On the next page is the family of Jacob Will (household 105), born in Pa, age 58, also a carpenter. Could this be Christian's father? (Jacob 58, Mary 53, Catharine 16).

Migrations

Christian bought property in Mifflin on 29 Jul 1859, then sold it 3 Sep 1866 when they were residents of LaGrange County, Indiana. Nothing further learned in La Grange, Indiana, except he did not own property 1850-1900 and is not listed in any of the LaGrange County cemeteries shown in the Historical Societies Cemetery books. Ray Will said he checked the INCR1870 INCR1880 for LaGrange County and came up with nothing. The Indiana records probably need rechecking and then probably the Ohio ones for Ashland and Richland Counties to see if we can track down his possible return or what happened to his other children. Wild speculation could be he went to Michigan or kept going West from Indiana and that's why Henry Will went to Missouri.[3]
