  • Vol. 2 - Wall's executors vs. Grissom's distributees--O. S. 273; N. S. 96--Bill, 29th November, 1803. Orator is John Preston of Montgomery County, executor of Adam Wall, who was security for Catherine Gnssom, and James Elliott, administrators of Robert Grissom, deceased. Catherine was widow and James reputed son-in-law of Robert. James has left this country. Answer by Robert and David Grissom, two of the distributees, Catherine Grissom, widow, and of infant children and distributees, viz: George, Charles, Prudence and William Grissom. Settlement of administrator's account of Grissom's estate 1st February, 1795, to balance of schooling due by article of agreement assigned by the intestate before his death. 1st February, 1796, teaching two scholars 6-1/2 mos. each at 30/ per year. 6th April, 1796, cash paid James Moore for one scholar at singing school. 10th May, 1796, paid Christian Price, an heir; he married one of the daughters of Robert Grissom.
