Initially, CHRISTIAN'S Page was created here as a LINK between friends HERMAN LOWER and CHARLES WOLF, who were both born near URBANA, INDIANA. Most of the 3,000 plus WeRelate.org postings produced by "White Creek" in 2012 concerned those pioneers of Palatine origin, who migrated to Tuscarawas County, Ohio, and Wabash County, Indiana.

Christian's family were of a different ethnicity, and religious denomination, than the Palatine people who were first listed in these WeRelate pages. The Buskings (and most families related to them) were of SAXON Lutheran origin.

Pictured on this page are images from photographs and a document related to the Frille Church, and Christian's tombstone in Indianapolis. The baptismal font was no doubt the actual one used for Christian Busking, in the old church shown.

The first map below, shows the location of the village of FRILLE, just northeast of the city of MINDEN. The second map shows the location of CAMMER, south of Frille, and near the border (blue and red lines) between Prussia and Schaumburg-Lippe.

The FRILLE CHURCH picture is from Charles Klasing, and dates from 1998.

Going forward, other known Busking Family members are gradually being added to this website.

Note copy of original 1858 baptismal document. Note also that the date was 4 years after Christian had immigrated to the USA. Obviously, he had returned to Schaumburg-Lippe, and while there he was baptized in the family church which no longer exists, having been replaced by a newer church.
