Chester F. Lehnhoff, of Vichy, was born May 16, 1913 in Belle and died at his residence on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 1995 at the age of 81 years. He leaves four children; Terry F. Lehnhoff and wife Donna of Vichy, Michael Lehnhoff and wife Charollet of St. Charles, David Lehnhoff of Vichy and Mary Jane Wernig and husband Ron of Maryland Heights; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Frank O. and Nellie J. (Elrod) Lehnhoff; his wife Gladys who died February 5, 1994 and one sister Jewell Lehnhoff. Prior to his retirement he was employed in the electrical industry as a tool designer. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Vienna.
Funeral services were held the following Saturday, at Vienna Baptist Church with Rev. Howard Opperman and Rev. Robb Hodson officiating. Music was provided by the Vienna Baptist Church. Pallbearers were John Lehnhoff, Tim Lehnhoff, Steve Lehnhoff, Mark Lehnhoff, Edwin Honse and Ron Wernig.
Burial was in the Vienna Cemetery. Arrangements were by the James and Gahr Mortuary of St. James.
