Once more Death has entered a happy home, this time claiming as its victim Mrs. Nella J. Lehnhoff of Belle, Missouri. Deceased was born January 3, 1894. She was the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Elrod. At the age of 18 years she was united in marriage to Frank Lehnhoff March 13, 1912. This union was blessed with two children, Chester and Jewel. Her husband preceded her in death about three years. Nella was stricken with Tuberculosis two years ago and grew gradually weaker and weaker until she finally was confined to her bed about two weeks before her death. Every thing that medical aid and loving hands could do was done for her but to no avail. On Thursday February 26, 1925 at 8:15 A. M. she passed away at the age of 31 years 1 month and 23 days.

On Saturday February 29 at 2 oclock P. M. relatives and friends gathered at the Baptist church in Belle, where words of consolation were spoken to the bereaved ones by Rev. Elrod. From there the body was taken to the Liberty Cemetery and reverently laid in its last resting place. She leaves to mourn, 1 son, Chester, mother and father, 2 sisters, Mrs. Fred Luster and Mrs. James Heck, and one brother Oscar Elrod all of Belle. One brother and one sister preceded her in death. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
