Kilpatrick Chester L. Jackson THE LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, 29 Jan 1981: "Mrs. Bart (Chester) Kilpatrick, 74, of Allens Point community, died 25 Jan 1981 in a Paris hospital. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning, 27 Jan in the Church of Christ in Honey Grove with Maurice Neathery officiating. Burial was in Forest Hill Cemetery under the direction of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home. "Mrs. Kilpatrick was born in the Forest Hill Community on 10 Nov 1906, daughter of David Carrol. She married Bart Kilpatrick in Petty on 4 Jan 1928. She was formerly a teacher, a housewife and was employed by Duke and Ayres for twelve years. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Honey Grove. "Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mrs. George (Anita) Denison of Honey Grove; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Canida of Paris and Mrs. Margaret Edelhouser of Forest Hill; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew."
