From John Waddington's "Who's Who" 1754 Ped. 1133 p. 230 Charles went to India 1790 and was lost sight of (see 1790).

Charles enlisted at 20 years of age as a soldier and fought the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. He afterwards lived at Kidderminster and later went to India and was lost sight of. Descended from Richard de Wadyngton 1388 of Coley, Halifax.
