C. Sonnedecker, Retired Farmer

Creston - Charles A. Sonnedecker, 84, a retired farmer, died Saturday evening at Wayne County Hospital. He was the son of George and Sarah Coup Sonnedecker, born March 24, 1878, near Smithville in Wayne Township He was a member of Smithville Methodist Church. He was a retired farmer. Neices and nephews survive. His parents, a sister, three step-brothers, and a step-sister died previously. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Wayne County Home Chapel with Rev. Albert Henry officiating. The body will be at the chapel two hours before services. Burial will be in the old Orrville Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem Wednesday evening.
